Year In Review

It’s already 2018 and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come this year! However, I want to take a moment to reflect on what an amazing year 2017 was for me.

Thank you to all of the wonderful families and couples I have met over the year. None of this would have been possible without any of you!

Here is my 2017 in review!

Favorite Part of 2017:

My favorite part of 2017 was traveling to Paris to capture the story of Nick and Lisa. Traveling for my business has always been a goal of mine, and I am so grateful that I was able to accomplish that goal so early on.

Some Events I attended:

Bridal Expo 2017:

In March of 2017 I attended my second Bridal Expo at The Garrison and met so many 2018 clients. I am happy to say that I will also be attending this year as well! Come check out The Bridal Expo on March 4th!

Blogging for Creative Entrepreneurs

My assistant and I had fun educating ourselves at our first workshop together. We attended a very insightful workshop on blogging, put on by Alexandra Peterson. Thank you so much Alex for all of the knowledge you passed on to everyone in the class, we learned a lot and are so grateful to you for making the workshop a pleasure to attend.

The workshop took place at The Art Factory in Patterson, NJ. The building was stunning, inside and outside.

Hurricane Relief Benefit:

In November I attended a Hurricane Relief Benefit put on by Revive Your Hair Spa. All proceeds went to the locations affected by recent hurricanes. My role there was to take photographs of families and everything was donated! Attending this event made me feel good that I could give back to people by doing what I love!

And thank you to the families who helped make this event successful!

My Features for 2017:

In 2017 I was featured in some amazing weddings blogs and online publications. This year I also am so proud to share that I had my first paper publication in The Westchester Magazine!

Links to my online publications:

This year it was my first time…

  • …Being featured in a paper publication. Cool little story- I went and got my nails done in the town I grew up in and as I was drying my nails in the heat I looked up and saw the magazine sitting right there! That was pretty exciting! The feature was in Westchester Wedding Magazine in their 2018 Print edition!
  •  …Being featured in an exclusive wedding blog. Thank you Sweetened Romantic for enjoying my work!
  • …Traveling internationally for a wedding! Traveling to Paris was a a week of growth for me personally and professionally. And I had a blast partying with a best friend of mine and also created many new friendships!
  • …Attended my very first workshop that didn’t require being behind the camera. I actually sat in a classroom setting and learned!
  • …Began mentoring two new photographers close to me personally!

And Finally…

Thank you to all of the families and couples I have met over the year! You all have impacted my life, personally and professionally. I am looking forward to another year of growth and meeting so many new clients!

Family Sessions of 2017:

My family sessions of 2017 were shot at Salesian Park in Goshen, NY and in Salisbury Mills, New York.
