Highland’s Country Club Wedding
{Lauren & Mike}
Lauren and Mike’s love story began years ago in a way that Lauren describes as “unconventional”, which was through an online dating site. Online dating is gaining popularity and “20% of current, committed relationships began online”. (10 Online Dating Statistics).
The dating website definitely found a perfect match when it comes to Lauren and Mike. I will never forget how happy these two were on their engagement session, walking around the park discussing the different types of birds we saw. These two still have a shared love of nature and discovering different birds.
I always say I love when a couple personalizes their wedding in some way. Lauren and Mike incorporated their love of birds into their ceremony AND their reception. During the ceremony Lauren and Mike each chose a type of bird seed and mixed them both together, symbolizing becoming one on their wedding day. And finally, each table at their reception was named after a different bird they have seen together. Their cake topper was a handcrafted Chickadee and Tufted Titmouse both their favorite birds!
Lauren and Mike got married at Highlands Country Club and their day was so much fun! Her bridesmaids and Mike’s groomsmen and grooms-women were such a blast to be around! And find Lauren’s original engagement ring! A beautiful blue stone!
Congratulations to Lauren and Mike, thank you for trusting me to capture this day for you!
