New York Hudson Valley Best of Florists

New York Hudson Valley Best of Florists

Are you looking for your wedding florist?

Here are just some of my favorite flower, centerpiece and bouquet details from this past year. As we gear up for 2017 wedding season, I am looking forward to all the gorgeous floral details from some of my favorite florists in the Hudson Valley region.

So, what makes the below floral arrangements and bouquets the best? In my opinion, these florists brought forward their creativity and the bride’s wedding vision in beautiful arrangements. Each blossom was handcrafted to match the style the bride requested and each photographed so beautifully.

Here are the best, in my opinion, in no particular order.

From the beautiful weddings of Erica, Christina, Emily, Allie and Margot! Aren’t their bouquets just stunning?!

Brides and Bouquets

From the wedding of Erica and Michael Mills, created by Erin of You’re the Boss Events. Erin is highly talented and pays attention to every detail. She does everything from calligraphy to event management and design. For Erica and Mike she styled their whole wedding and these flowers as well! Erica and Mike were looking for an elegant meets rustic theme and Erin had flowers beautifully arranged in unique jars and vases throughout the reception and on every table.Floral and Jar Centerpieces on Wood Slab

These next centerpieces, are from the weddings of Allie and Corey and Margot and Dan! Amy Corwin of Corwin Florist in Warwick NY created the stunning beautiful pale pink and white flowers at Margot and Dan’s wedding.  She placed the centerpieces in beautiful wooden boxes that just matched so well with the Pioneer Farm wedding.

The gorgeous purple and green centerpieces come from Laurel Grove Florist and Greenhouses. These matched so well with Allie’s gorgeous purple and green bouquet that had succulents in it! (Just wait to see that!)

The stunning bouquet on the left is from Erica and Mike’s wedding and photographed so well against their rustic backdrop.

And the elegant white, pale pink and green bouquet on the right is from the classic wedding of Emily and Joe at the historic Thayer Hotel. Emily had her flowers crafted by the well-sought after David Anthony in Monroe.

The bouquet on the left is from, Margot’s wedding and the purple, pink and green bouquet is from Allie’s.

The all white bouquet in the lower right is from the wedding of Christina and Ryan at the gorgeous Highlands Country Club. (I love photographing there!) Christina paid such close attention to detail and every aspect of her wedding was thought through with such elegance. Her florals were done by Flora Laura of Port Jervis.

Below are some more gorgeous florist details from weddings. I loved how each bride used flowers from everything to the cake, to their gift table and more.

Each bride had gorgeous ways to display the flower. In small vases, all white hobnail-vintage glass or wooden boxes.

Floral Details at Weddings and Engagement sessions

A tip from the pro’s! Have your florist bring you some loose flowers similar to those in your bouquet and centerpieces. Make sure they are the same colors and type. These can be used in your detail shots such as ring and invitations!

A tip from the pro’s! Bring flowers to your engagement session like Kate did! This session was featured on TWO national blogs because of the care and detail Kate put into planning her session. Her flowers were picked directly from her mother’s garden and the teepee? Handcrafted by my husband (and still available for use!)
